These terms and conditions apply to all tours and services provided by Musandam Direct, operating from Khasab Marina, Musandam, Oman. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms.
Booking Process
All bookings are made through WhatsApp. To book a tour, send us a message with your preferred date, tour type, and number of guests. We will confirm availability and provide pricing.
- A booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from us via WhatsApp
- Please review all tour details, inclusions, and meeting information before confirming
- You are responsible for providing accurate information (number of guests, ages, special requirements)
Payment
Payment terms vary by tour and are communicated at the time of booking. Unless otherwise agreed:
- Full payment is due on the day of the tour (on arrival)
- For private charters and large group bookings, a deposit may be required to secure your reservation
- We accept cash (AED or OMR) and may offer card payment options — confirm available methods when booking
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund terms apply:
- More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund
- 24 to 48 hours before departure: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours / same-day cancellation: Non-refundable
- No-show: Non-refundable
To cancel or reschedule, contact us via WhatsApp as early as possible.
Weather Cancellations
Guest safety is our top priority. Tours may be cancelled or modified due to adverse weather conditions (high winds, rough seas, heavy rain).
- If we cancel a tour due to weather, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule to an alternative date
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be arranged within 30 days of the original booking
- If you choose a refund, it will be processed within 5–7 business days
Liability
Musandam Direct operates tours with experienced local guides and Coast Guard approved vessels. However, please note:
- We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from your own negligence or failure to follow safety instructions
- We are not responsible for delays, changes, or losses caused by circumstances beyond our control, including weather, border closures, traffic, or government restrictions
- Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the tour booking
- We strongly recommend that all guests carry personal travel insurance
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance before visiting Musandam. This should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and personal liability. Musandam Direct is not responsible for any costs arising from uninsured incidents.
Border Crossing
If you are crossing the UAE–Oman border to reach Khasab:
- You are solely responsible for ensuring you have valid travel documents (passport, visa, NOC if applicable)
- You must have valid Oman car insurance if driving your own vehicle
- Musandam Direct is not responsible for denied border entry or any associated costs

Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Oman.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
