UAE Visa Types Allowed
Your UAE residence visa type affects whether you can enter Oman:
- Multi-entry UAE visa — Generally acceptable. You can return to the UAE without issues.
- Single-entry UAE visa — Can be restricted for some nationalities. If your single-entry visa has been used to enter the UAE, confirm with Oman immigration before travel.
- UAE visit/tourist visa — Allowed for most nationalities. Ensure your visa is valid for the duration of your Oman trip.
Profession Restrictions
Some UAE residence visa holders with certain profession codes (e.g., labour, domestic worker, some service categories) may be flagged at the Oman border. This does not mean automatic rejection, but it can cause delays or denial of entry.
What to do:Bring an employer letter confirming your employment and salary if your profession code is in a lower-skilled category. If unsure, message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you check.
